This rare Meissen hand-painted floral and gold scrollwork bowl is a stunning piece of vintage Biedermeier style porcelain. Large white porcelain punch bowl. Nicely decorated with hand painted a large orange flower on one side and a large pink flower on the other. The other sides have a small blue flower and a small purple & yellow flower. With a pink flower in the center of the bowl and blue, orange, purple & yellow flowers around the inside With a molded basketweave pattern around the edge of the bowl. Marked on the bottom with the blue underglaze crossed swords used between 1814 and 1860. Has two slash marks through the crossed swords mark. Has some usage wear to the center of the bowl, consistent with age. Otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 9 5/8 inches wide x 4 7/8 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.

Highlighted with a tint of brown color on the leaves. With irregular shaped on the edges. The bowl measures 13.75″ long, 10.5″ across and 2.75 tall. Marked with Meissen Crossed Swords logo hallmark. It’s in very good to excellent condition, but show some minor wear due to age. The bowl is heavy.

Antique Von Schierholz Dresden Meissen Style German Porcelain 13 Console Bowl. 13 from the outside edge of one cherub’s head to the outside edge of parallel cherub’s head. 9.5 Bowl: outside edge to outside edge at the lip of the bowl. Height: 6 from tabletop to tip of bowls edge. Cherub’s head height: 6.5 from tabletop to the tip of the cherub’s head. I believe the scasle weight was 4 lbs 6 oz. The bowl is wrapped and pre-boxed. The weight with the bowls and the boxing is 7 lbs 2.4 oz. Offered for sale is a stunning antique porcelain center console bowl manufactured in Germany by Von Schierholz during the 1930s. The bowl features four children at the corners holding up the bowl and the sides of the bowl display extremely delicate flowers. The interior of the bowl is hand-painted, and the edges are adourned in gold gilt accents. This is a true work of art and highly prized for the workmanship. The only damage to the piece is to the capimonte flowers. Three (3) flowers have some level of damage (all are pictured). The bottom of the bowl is marked with the Von Schierholz name in black – see pictures. The overall condition of the bowl is very good to excellent. The bowl and the cherubs are in excellent condition. The flowers (capimonte flowers) are in very good condition except that 3 of the 4 larger blooms have chips on one of the petals of the blooms. It is a very flat soup plate and can also just be used as a regular plate! There are no slash marks in ANY of the double sword logos (you can zoom in on the photos to see for yourself). Sometimes the logos can look blurry but I guarantee to you that there are NO slash marks. The gold on the plates themselves is pristine. I dont see any scratches or fork marks or anything that would indicate these have ever been used. There is a total of FIVE available. In case you are new to the MEISSEN world, please read carefully. PATTERN: 100% Authentic Meissen Blue Onion with Double Swords Meissen (not Teichert) logo on the bottom of every dish. The double-sword logo is simply worth more than the Teichert logo (which is a circle with a plus sign and the words “Meissen” inside the circle). They are SO RARE. What does “GOLD” mean? Those who collect Meissen Blue Onion know that there are several versions of the Meissen “Gold”– there is the Blue Onion that ONLY has gold trim on the edges of the plates (that one is called “Blue Onion Gold Trim”). Then, there is another version that has the gold trim and ALSO has the fruits and flowers of the Blue Onion pattern accented with gold as well (this one is called “Blue Onion Gold Trim with Gold Accents”). All the plates/dishes are this beautiful gold gilded pattern on both the edging and the fruits, flowers, and other elements of the pattern. The pictures really do not do these justice. This gorgeous Meissen bowl is decorated with hand painted flowers in the center and has a border with leaves with heavy bronze gilding. The bowl is 12 inches in diameter and 2 ¼ inches high. The bowl has the Meissen crossed swords mark with the dot in the center that was used from 1924 to 1934. It has an impressed 27 to show it was made in 1927. It is in near mint condition with the only flaw evident is a tiny scratch in a green leaf in the center.
