Beautiful vintage Whittier Pottery white cabbage serving set featuring the classic textured cabbage leaf design. This impressive matching set includes the large covered soup tureen with matching underplate and ladle, along with eight individual cabbage leaf bowls/dishes. Large covered cabbage soup tureen. Eight individual cabbage leaf bowls/dishes. Overall, this set displays beautifully and is in very nice vintage condition. The individual bowls and plates appear free of cracks, chips, or significant scratches. The large tureen does have a few small chips on the underside/interior area of the lid near the finial. These flaws are relatively minor, do not affect use, and are difficult to notice when the lid is in place. There are no major cracks, breaks, or repairs to the set. Please review all photos, including close-ups of the lid damage, for the best representation of condition. The glossy white finish and detailed cabbage pattern make this a wonderful piece for display, entertaining, or cottage and farmhouse décor. Complete sets are becoming increasingly difficult to find. This is a beautiful Vintage McCoy Pottery Drip Glaze Soup Tureen Bean Pot with Plate, Lid and Ladle. This set is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or breaks. The glaze is in fabulous condition. There are two spots on the lid that are void of glaze, but they are very small and not damage. These are shown in the photos. The rims of all pieces are in great shape. The only real wear are some scratches on the under plate and I have shown this in the photos. The plate measures 10 1/4 inches across. The Soup Tureen measures 7 3/8 inches across the top and sits 5 1/4 inches high without the lid. With the lid the height measures 8 1/2 inches. The bottom of the tureen and the plate are both marked. Vintage Stoneware Clay Pottery Soup Tureen/Serving Bowl with Ladle & Lid, Artist Signed. The tureen and the ladle are by different artists. Unfortunately I can’t seem to make out the artist signature on either one but they are both extremely well made and sturdy. Tureen measures approximately 8.5″ tall and 9 1/4″ in diameter. Excellent preowned condition, no chips or cracks.
