This is a great display piece. I got it in Arizona about 30 years ago and used it in my “Western Room” for many years. It shows age and I believe it originally came from southern Arizona. It looks as though it was used on a daily basis until these were no longer needed. It has great character and all the chips in the porcelain add to its appeal. The stand has always been an aqua color. It has a towel bar. The opening on the top for the bowl is 12 1/4 inches. It is 29″ high, 17″ wide to edge of towel bar. It has 3 legs that have a 15 1/2 spread from leg to leg. The trim on the porcelain is a dark blue. This would be a great display piece or prop for a Western movie. This bowl is in great condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is crazing on the underside in the shiney glaze as is common with these old art pottery pieces. This piece has an impressed group of four numbers and a large rectangle impressed that says, “Czechoslovakia”. The old impressed mark that I can’t read is shown in photo five. Be sure to enlarge the photos to get a good look at this awesome piece of Amphora! The bowl is about 8 1/4″ from handle to handle and about 3 3/4″ in total height. There is a band of cobalt and green rectangles in enamel along the bottom of the bowl. Great addition to a collection or a truly incredibly holiday gift!
