Probably made in the late 1940s to early 1950s by Hopi Master Potter Elva Nampeyo, who was born in 1926. Nampeyo learned how to make pottery from her Grandmother and was born in the Corn Clan House. Her pieces are highly prized by collectors all over the world and are in museums. All the items are free of chips and the paint is in perfect condition. Most have the hand written price in pencil on the bottom and the larger bowl is signed by Nampeyo. Please check out my other rare and great Native American auctions.
