A vintage, possibly antique, French porcelain footed covered bowl/tureen by Edme Samson. The piece measures approximately 7″ in diameter by 6.5″ high. The piece features hand painted armorial crests on the bowl and the cover along with flowers and raised detailing. There are couple of chips along the bowl edge. There is a repaired chip to the top of the cover. There is some rubbing to the gilding. There is some surface dirt present. Marked on the underside with the Edme Samson hallmark and Made in France.
