This Vintage Raku Pottery Collectible Display Bowl features a unique design with blue, red, and copper undertones, adding a touch of Earth Copper Tones theme to any space. There are multiple layers of unique coloring that changes depending on the lighting in the room. This item is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing. Normal blemishes only due to the making process. There are uneven spots and raised areas to give a 3-D look. BEAUTIFUL AND RARE PORTUGUESE SWAN CENTERPIECE BOWL/FLOWER VASE. HAND PAINTED SIGNED AND NUMBERED. I have traveled throughout Portugal several times since then and have never seen another remotely like it. Of curse since each piece of these Ceramicas de Coimbra is handpainted there are no two alike, however I have not seen one of this shape and style so I do think it is very rare and numbered #236. I wonder how many have survived for 36 years and much less made their way to the United States. I have never put anything in it and only had it out on display occasionally over the years when I would use the matching plates. It has been stored for the last 14 years. The approximate measurements are: 18 &1/2 inches long X 9 &1/2 inches wide X 8 & 1/4 inches tall. Weight is approx 7 lbs. Vintage items are not returnable. Thank you for looking.
