Very Large Antique Delftware Punch Bowl, Dutch, mid 1700s

This pattern appears on five flower vases Accession #’s 1958.1058 through. 1062 in the Winterthur Museum’s collection (see last image). Measurements: 13 15/16″ diameter, 7″ height. Condition: cracks, glaze chips. According to Delftware expert Robert Aronson, large punch bowls like this are rare and were listed in Dutch price lists as “kastrom” or cupboard bowls.
