Bowl and mugs are marked with the incised mark as shown on the bottoms. Condition: old hairline crack to one cup, no other chips, cracks or repairs. Another cup is darkened inside, looks like it was splashed with the dark cobalt glaze from the outside rim panels. Dimensions: Punch bowl approx. Overall approx 12″ high and 12″ wide from handle to handle. The cups measure 3 1/2 tall.

German Punch Cider Bowl Tureen with Six Mugs. Castle scenes encircle the 5 liter bowl and the 300ml mugs with grapes and vines. The bowl features six major castle scenes (Marksburg, Burg Lahneck, Ruine Godesberg, Burg Katz, Burg Sonneck, & Burg Rheinstein) and six smaller castle scenes around the top (Ehrenfels, Drachenfels, Feindl Bruder, Schonburg, Ruine Maus, & Mauseturm). Vintage Castles on the Rhine Gerz – Germany Punch Bowl Set with 4 mugs. Excellent condition no chip cracks but there is some crazing. The bowl measures approx 11 3/4″ tall with the lid and 12″ at it’s widest point. The Cups measure about 3 5/8 tall. Contact me with any questions or additional photos.
