This is a lovely authentic original signed and numbered limited edition Clarice Cliff covered dish in the Art Deco style of the late 1920s. The covered dish or toureen is hand painted and has an opening on the side of the lid for a serving spoon. Her “Bizarre” design features a house, tree, cloud, and meadow in shades of green, yellow and red. The condition for this vintage item should be considered excellent. The colors are vivid. There are no cracks, chips, or craze lines. On very close inspection you may notice that some tiny spots of the hand painting are flecked off. The photos provide an accurate accounting of this.
