Add a touch of whimsical, old-school Aurora artistry to your collection with this rare, vintage MacKenzie-Childs piece from the beloved “Fish Story” collection. This exceptional studio pottery piece features a stunning, 3D sculpted fish resting seamlessly across a deep rimmed bowl. True to the signature Victoria & Richard era style, the fish is beautifully hand-painted with pastels, vibrant pink-and-yellow checkerboards, delicate stripes, and whimsical polka dots. Beneath the fish motif, the interior of the bowl displays a lovely lattice pattern adorned with tiny floral blossoms. The underside showcases the distinct red clay terracotta base, stamped with the authentic, classic MacKenzie-Childs Aurora, New York oval hallmark alongside the artist’s initials. Because each vintage piece was entirely made and decorated by hand, this bowl is a truly one-of-a-kind work of art. Measurements: 8.5″ diameter and 10.75″ long.
