Large vintage mottled brown planter of classic mid-century modern cylindrical form. Signed Gainey Ceramics, La Verne, CA AC-10. This pot comes from an old estate here in the Ojai, California (along with several others I shall be listing in the next few days). This one measures approximately 10 x10. Over all condition is very good; no chips, some slight original manufacturing flaws, minor blemishes, and just one hairline crack. No drain-hole, so pot can be used as an interior jardinière. As you can see, this pot displays absolutely beautifully. This item is available for. This pot was in use at the estate. We carefully removed the contents and lightly washed it. I see NO major damage in the way of big cracks, nicks, chips, or such damage. Upon close examination, I did find a fine hairline on the bottom, but it is stable and it does NOT go up any side. There is some white hard water deposit material around the bottom that you may wish to remove with further detailing, depending on your needs. Measures about 10 ½ across the top, and about 9 ½ tall.
