A vintage USSR pottery horse and riders sculpture. 1960′s – 1970′s. 18 cm long x 18 cm high x 7 cm wide. The horse is carrying a man and women on its back and is decorated with incised detailing. It has a hollow centre and green and brown glazes. The back foot retains its original paper label’Made in USSR Zakarpatje’. If you would like to collect in person, cash on collection is fine. Here we have a fab vintage West German pottery lamp base. I have been unable to find out who made this but have seen many similar ones by Scheurich. Either way it’s a lovely piece made somewhere around the 60′s or 70′s. It has a nice dripglaze which is like a fat lava style but it isn’t “bubbling”. Nice brown colours on a white background makes for a nice neutral piece in your home. It measures approximately 10.25 inches tall to the top of the bulb holder by 8 inches so it’s a decent size. It comes with approximately 1.5m of cable. It has a fabulous look – perfect for the lover of the 60′s/70′s, West German pottery or the contemporary home.
