Roseville Vintage Pottery Pine Cone Bowl, Shape 428-8, Brown. Small bowl in an elegant curved shape. Roseville adapted the “Modern” version of this pattern from the first Pine Cone line of the 1930′s, featuring the same pine cones, needles and branches. Pine Cone Modern pieces are always numbered in the 400′s. The glaze on the smooth body is golden brown, melding into a dark brown base. Late Line, introduced in 1953.
