Chinese Sang De Boeuf Pottery Bowl Early 20thC. This stunning example of early 20th century Chinese ceramics is a bowl decorated with the exotic and difficult to make sang-de-boeuf finish, beautifully streaked with purple and blue on a red background with a lilac interior; it carries a 4 character painted mark to the base. Measuring 14cm tall and 11cm across. It is in very good condition with only some crazing to the interior, a few tiny nibbles on the inside of the footrim, a sub-1mm ding and a well-repaired 1cm chip to the outer rim; it is a particularly stunning example.
