The bowl measures 10.5″ in diameter and 4″ Height. White, Black, metallic bronze in color. The bowl has a rough unglazed texture to the base and is artist signed. It has a wonderful asymmetric quality and represents a departure from functional pottery. There are some natural surface cracking on the base, present from original firing process. Paul Soldner was an Important Historical figure in the Art world, credited for bringing the Japanese art form of Raku to the United States.
