(11) Vintage WEDGWOOD 9.625 Floral RIMMED SOUP BOWLS – #X5304. Auctioned from a prominent 1900′s Pasadena, California estate, these are in wonderful condition. Must have only been displayed as there is no utensil marks at all. The plates (and the matching dinner plates which will be listed separately) are likely to have been. Custom made for the family which lived in a large and noteworthy victorian estate built in 1893. Its an unusual design with a narrow intricate cobalt design on the rim surrounding green laurel leaves. Below the cobalt is swags of pink roses and other flowers (see close-up on photo #5). The bowls have a 9.625 inch diameter and is 1.25 inches high at the rim. These would look lovely mixed in with your classic white china with either a gold or cobalt rim.
