This vintage Fiestaware mixing bowl is a stunning piece of pottery that was manufactured in America by HLC in 1936. Antique Rare Boote Sydenham Huge White Ironstone Footed Pedestal Open Bowl Nice

For sale we have a rare huge 8 Antique T &R Boote English White Ironstone Pedestal Footed open fruit bowl or compote. This huge beauty is in the early Sydenham design and form. This bowl has a opulent busy design and pattern with flutes and with a beautiful wavy scalloped opening. This bowl has the impressed Register mark that dates the piece to 1853. The pattern and overall form is intriguing and beautiful. The color is rich and glossy throughout the entire piece with the blue glaze pooling present. The inside of the bowl is excellent with no scratching of scuffing. We have not seen another bowl in this pattern and large size. We have seen more cake stands then this form and pattern. This is a fresh to the market example in excellent original untouched condition. This open footed pedestal bowl is very large and impressive at 8″ in height with the opening being 10 1/2″ across the top and the depth of the bowl at 3 3/4 all approx. The condition is fabulous with no chips, cracks, deep scratches or scuffs and no repairs. We only see a discolored glob of ironstone on the one scallop on the outer edge of the bowl and some spotty overall crazing. There is also some usage discoloration on the bottom foot of the bowl. We pictured these areas and mention them for accuracy. This is a excellent rare example and would look great displayed with a early ironstone Cake Stand. Set of Five RRP Co – Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Roseville, OH Mixing Bowl Set. Bowl #1 – Largest bowl minty green measures 9.25″ wide x 4.75″ tall – no crazing. Bowl #2 – White – measure 8.25″wide x 4.25″ tall – no crazing. Has hairline crack on inside bottom – doesn’t go through. Bowl #3 – Brown 7″ wide x 3.75″ tall – no crazing. Bowl #4 – Reddish brown 6.25″ wide x 3.25″ tall – no crazing. Bowl #5 – Smallest bowl yellow 5.25″ tall x 2.75″ wide – has crazing. All have design marks from the kiln. Choose the most reasonable. The bottom interior has glaze missing in a circular pattern… Very minor glaze misses bottom edge and one top per original manufacture.. But stated for accuracy. Perfect interior or exterior! This pot was in use at the estate. We carefully removed the contents and lightly washed it. I see NO major damage in the way of big cracks, nicks, chips, or such damage. Upon close examination, I did find a fine hairline on the bottom, but it is stable and it does NOT go up any side. There is some white hard water deposit material around the bottom that you may wish to remove with further detailing, depending on your needs. Measures about 10 ½ across the top, and about 9 ½ tall.
