FORNASETTI vintage SIGNED Porcelain Trinket Bowl with Striped Face

For your consideration is an unusual and rare Fornasetti porcelain trinket bowl with a striped face design. This piece measures 5 1/16 across and 1 5/16 in height. The underside is marked Tema E Variazioni 29 Fornasetti Milano Made in Italy. It had two holes in the back which makes it possible to mount this to the wall with the right hardware. The bowl is in good vintage condition. Please note that the apparent imperfections around the underside of the rim are most likely part of the manufacturing process and not actual damage. Please examine all of the photos for a good visual description. Feel free to ask any questions. Superb Vintage 1950s Piero Fornasetti Set 4 Appetiser Bowls onions olives cheese

From a beautiful collection of porcelain at. A vintage set of four appetiser bowls designed and produced by Italian firm Fornasetti. Design by Piero Fornasetti 1955. From tiles to coasters, teacups, appetizer bowls, trays and teapots, there was no ceramic object Fornasetti didnt recast in a new light. He called them conversation pieces, each bowl is unique, an excellent reason for a conversational discussion. The bowls have a wide gold band on the inside rim and base, with a center section printed in black. Designs include onions, cheese, almonds, and olives. Genuine makers mark on the base, made in Italy and a gold initial for the painter. Each bowl measures circa 50 mm high x 80 mm diameter. Condition: Excellent, no damages to the ceramic, checked with UV light, no crazing to the glaze, slight scratches to the gold rim. Other sets available online at Coscombe Fine porcelain. Measures: 2 high by just over 3 across rim Marked: see photo Condition: Very Good/Good/As-Is (the almonds bowl has an old hairline with staining in both exterior and interior, the onions bowl has a chip on the interior of the rim loss of gold trim).
