Polia Pillin, Los Angeles, CA Born in Poland, worked in Chicago and eventually moved to Los Angeles where Polia and her husband William set up an art pottery studio. Polia typically painted delicate figures and animals on the pieces. This lovely bowl has a smooth, shiny surface with shades of cobalt blue, copper at rim and white glaze blending together with touches of mauves in the Seven different birds painted inside.
