16 #616 Vintage WATT POTTERY Cream Ware Ceramic Yellow Banded Mixing Bowl. Today we are happy to offer for sale the rarely seen largest sized vintage Watt Pottery mixing bowl! The Watt Pottery started in 1922 was operated by the Watt family of Perry County Ohio. The watt Pottery remained in business from 1922 to 1965 when the factory was destroyed by fire and never rebuilt. The pottery manufactured stoneware crocks, butter churns, preserve jars and jugs. This large vintage mixing bowl is ideal for large cooking projects and features a classic pale yellow ground with turquoise and mauve center stripes. The piece is marked on the bottom “Oven Ware 616 USA”. The bowl is in very good vintage condition, with minor surface wear and patina commensurate with age. There are minor surface imperfections which normally occurred during the manufacturing process. There is one small (and hard to see) chip on bottom rim that doesn’t affect function at all and isn’t visible unless the bowl is turned over.
